​Saturday Mornings With Greig, James & Hannah

It has been terrific to see a great number of juniors attending our Saturday morning coaching sessions. Greig McDonell has a wealth of experience, and he is assisted by James Wighton and Hannah McDonell, bright and early on a Saturday morning at Ladywood - 9 to 10.30 am for beginners/juniors and 10.30am to 12 noon for adults. James and Hannah have recently qualified as Level 1 coaches - well done to them. We also have the benefit of occasional help from our former Head Coach, Tom Mackenzie (now spending much of his                                                     well earned retirement time abroad - lucky him)!  Get along and have a go.

Club Night 

The Club meets at Ladywood each Wednesday night (Thursday over the summer months) from 7pm to 9pm. We can accommodate up to 8 tables and the format of the night is social play. For those interested in developing skills, or for adult beginners, our qualified coaches are on hand to assist.

Match Night 

During the Edinburgh League Season (September to May), our home matches are played on a Thursday night - why not come along and watch some competitive table tennis. The 2024/25 season sees us have teams throughout the six divisions of the Edinburgh League. The Club are always on the lookout for new members and anyone interested in playing competitively in the league should contact us.

Throughout the year there is an opportunity for the youngsters to get a feel of competitive table tennis with a number of junior tournaments run throughout Scotland. Age is no barrier as the clip opposite shows with an amazing 12 year old Japanese player in action (Now a famous Senior TT Player).
